The Grandstream HTxxx Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) that allows you to connect analog phones and faxes with Fireline Voice Services.
There mare be instances where you need to find the IP address of your ATA. You can do a network scan looking for the MAC address or you can use the ATA’s built in automated menu.
To use the automated menu you must be able to interact with the ATA, which means your FAX should have a way to take the call off hook and put it on speaker phone so you can hear the menu. Optionally you can plug an analog phone into it temporarily to get the information.
When you hear the units dial tone, press the * key 5 times in a row. * * * * *
The unit will announce the menu item, “IP Address”, then repeat the IP address to you.
Hang up the phone once you are satisfied and you are done!
